Tunnels

Tunnels - Roderick Gordon, Brian Williams, Stephen Crossly The premise of the story - there's a secret world right underneath the feet of Londoners, peopled with oddly-shaped, pale citizens - is not new, but still fun. The book is well-written, the characters are interesting, it doesn't pander to its audience...so why was I so bored? I could not pay attention to what was happening in the book! I made it to the end and I have a good idea of what happened, but I know I missed huge chunks because it just didn't interest me.
Even so, I will be listening to the second installment - Deeper - because I do want to find out what will become of Will, his little brother, and his friend!
